The New York Giants have played more than 50 teams in their 91-year history. These are the five current NFL franchises that Big Blue has the highest rate of success against.

If we were to look at the teams the Giants have the most wins against, the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles would be #1 and #2 respectively. The G-Men have a 60% winning percentage against Washington and a 51% winning percentage against the Eagles. While most Giants fans would guess the winning percentage against the Redskins would be in the top five, they’d be wrong. Instead, New York’s rate of winning against D.C. places in the top eight.

The G-Men are undefeated against the likes of the Boston Bulldogs, Brooklyn Lions, Buffalo Bisons, Columbus Tigers, Dayton Triangles, Duluth Eskimos, Hartford Blues, Rochester Jeffersons, and Newark Tornadoes. If we included defunct franchises, Big Blue has dominated the Providence Steam Rollers, New York Yanks, Brooklyn Tigers, Boston Yanks, and Staten Island Stapletons. But, we’re looking at current active NFL franchises.

Four of the five teams on this list are located in the south (though, one had previously been midwestern) with one squad based in the midwest. Two teams are old AFL franchises; one franchise isn’t even old enough to vote while another franchise is older than the Giants; and the final franchise debuted with a winless season.

Enough clues, let’s do this thing…
