3. Offseason LB Signings:

If for no other reason than added competition at training camp, the Giants brought in two newcomers at linebacker in Keenan Robinson from the Redskins, and Kelvin Sheppard from the Dolphins.

Consider Sheppard an iron-man: something the Giants so desperately need at his position. During his 5-year NFL career, Sheppard has only missed 3 games. Last season, he started 13 of 16 games, recording a personal season high in tackles with 105.

On the other hand, Keenan Robinson is injury prone. He’s never played a full 16-game season, missing 28 games since his rookie 2012 season. Robinson brings in versatility to the New York Giants Camp, however. Perhaps most comfortable at the MIKE, Robinson has also been getting snaps at the weak side.
