1. Cam Newton – Tier One

Cam Newton was the NFL’s most valuable player in the 2015. He was also the best quarterback in fantasy football. Newton had his best season as a professional and led the Panthers to a Super Bowl appearance. The Panthers, however, lost the game to the Broncos. Newton threw 35 touchdowns and ran for an additional 10. Newton brings you dominant stats, both running and passing the football. Newton had 3,837 yards through the air and another 638 on the ground. Newton brings an incredible combination of speed and power.

Newton will likely be the first quarterback taken off the board in many fantasy drafts. The only knock on Newton that I can see is that other guys like Aaron Rodgers are safer. The season before Newton had just 18 passing touchdowns. Newton however is young, and he is on a loaded team. Last year he put up those huge stats without his favorite target in Kelvin Benjamin. Benjamin tore his ACL before the season and should be ready for the beginning of the season. I think Newton is going to have another great season. Regression is possible, but with his age and ability so is an even better year.
