3. Russell Wilson – Tier One

Seattle’s Russell Wilson has been an absolute star since the day he stepped into the Seahawks’ starting lineup. Wilson took his passing game to new heights last season with 34 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. He had 4,024 passing yards and an additional 553 rushing yards. Wilson had just one rushing touchdown after having six in the previous year. I think he will have somewhere in the 3-5 range this year. The ‘Hawks always were a run-first team, but last year the rushing game was not the same, and Wilson had his best passing year.

Running back Marshawn Lynch is gone which means like last year Wilson is the main focus of the offense. Last year, we saw the emergence of receivers Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett. People forget about tight end Jimmy Graham, and I think he will have a big bounce back season. Last year, Wilson started the year off slow but ended the season with six games of three or more touchdowns. Wilson did this from weeks 11-17. These were his only games of three or more touchdowns. Wilson is another guy who brings rushing and passing to the table. Wilson hardly turns the football over as well.
