5. Drew Brees – Tier One

If you like consistency the Saints’ Drew Brees brings that to your fantasy football lineup. Brees seems like he always plays whether it is through injury or healthy. Brees, however, has battled foot injuries and is now 37-years old. Brees plays in a pass heavy and that is not  changing for him any time soon. Wide receiver Brandin Cooks had a great season, and Brees loved throwing him the ball late in season.

Drew Brees had a seven touchdown game last season. He had 32 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and 4,870 yards. If you look at a three-year average of Drew Brees he has 5,097 yards, 38 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Brees has his games were he plays poorly, but he makes up for it with his mega games. Last year he had nine multi-touchdown games.
