Previous Taylor Problems

In May 2010, Taylor was arrested at his hotel in Montebello, N.Y. on charges of third-degree rape and soliciting prostitution, according to the New York Times. Police say Taylor paid a 16-year-old girl for sex. In an ESPN story, Taylor maintains the girl told him she was 19.

The next year, Taylor pleaded guilty in January to two misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to six year’s probation and required to register as a sex offender. Additionally, he was ordered to pay $1,300 in fines.

There is no word yet on whether this latest incident is a violation of his probation. Disappointed fans reacted to news of Taylor’s arrest on Twitter.

Taylor has a long and notorious history of substance abuse. Hopefully, he can find a way to get his life together before he seriously does harm to himself or others.
