Norman will win marks by performing his job of shadowing Beckham. Don’t expect deep receiving returns from Beckham. Still, Norman has yet to show complete maturity amid the turmoil that ensued ever since Beckham dove into Norman’s helmet last season. Now with the Redskins, Norman’s defensive statistics have stayed the same or will improved. Norman’s speed and interception rate (7 in 3 and one-half seasons) ranks fairly high in the league. The effect will be to create a reliance on running backs Robert Kelly and Chris Thompson for yardage gains. It makes sense to add Norman to your fantasy team.
