Following the Ravens’ lead on dealing with underachieving offenses is a good call

Ninth, the Giants can learn from the Raven’s handling of offensive coordinator Marc Trestman. After blowing a game in Week 5, the Ravens took acted swiftly and decisively as if they were dealing with a Beckham who was spiraling out of control.

Rather than waiting to see if he improves and looking the other way, the approach is to shame the culprit right away. In his defense, McAdoo is in a position to place blame on his players and coordinators for the sloppy and shaky play per the course of the season.

To avoid the plausible deniability argument, McAdoo should be responsible whenever Odell takes off his helmet in the endzone or the Giants allow over 110 yards in penalties in one game resulting in a loss.
