Fourth, McAdoo has let Eli ruin the Giant’s chances of winning games by appearing to be overly startled and defensive when the offensive line crumbles to pressure.

Although in McAdoo’s view, Eli has always had a unique ‘skittish’ quality to his approach to the quarterback position of not intimidating the opposition with his quickness or size, yet not showing off his nonplussed stance a la Tom Brady in nearly every play.

Still, McAdoo was the offensive coordinator last season under Coughlin, and it is too late to be able to let Eli off the hook for not being, or at least, appearing more assertive in the pocket when under pressure.
