What should have happened is for McAdoo to view the Giants players not as intercollegiate players needing to polish their skills, but rather as adults who are responsible for their actions when it comes to temper tantrums, missed tackles or general execution that seems like they are just going through the motions instead of using well-intentioned force against the opponent.
