Who are the best radio hosts of the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s?

Now, for some transplants such as one Pasadena attorney, the memories are too distant, almost forgotten moments in time. The 24/7 outlets of ESPN with its endless highlight reels and commentary programs, as much as they do a good job of covering the spectacle and offering up-to-the-minute analysis by the nation’s brightest sports experts — fails to recreate the wonder and awe that the FAN created for New Yorkers of an earlier generation.

There are some other “notable” voices to consider that you probably remember if you were born in the 1960s when New York Sports had a deplorable drought as bad as California’s drought today.

Elite Sports NY’s Robby Sabo lists them in no particular order:

"Notables"

"Tony Paige"

"Russ Salzberg"

"Jody McDonald"

"Richard Neer"

"Ed Coleman"

"Kim Jones"

"Ed Randall"

"Pete Franklin"

"Scott Ferrall"

"Ian Eagle"

"Anita Marks"

"Mark Malusis"
