Ronald Leary

Position: Guard
Age: 27 (4/29/1989)
Experience: Four Seasons
Previous Team: Dallas Cowboys

Ronald Leary was a member of the Dallas Cowboys’ powerful and rightfully heralded offensive line. Though not the most noteworthy member of the unit, Leary has upside that could be explored at guard.

Leary is less of a proven commodity than other players on this list, but he’s coming off of an outstanding season in 2016.

Leary benefited from playing between an elite tackle and an elite center in Dallas, but he’s offered reason for individual optimism. He’s looked strong when isolated in blocking situations and has done an outstanding job of protecting the quarterback.

If New York were to sign Leary, it would have a legitimately dominant offensive interior consisting of he, Justin Pugh, and Weston Richburg.

Leary didn’t allow a single sack in 2016 and didn’t let an opponent hit quarterback Dak Prescott until Week 14. He was even stronger in creating holes for the running game, which is the primary reason why New York should display legitimate interest.

Leary is likely to be available for a more affordable price than some of the other options on this list, which increases his potential value to the Giants.
