Offensive Tackle

This is an obvious one. The New York Giants brought back John Jerry and signed D.J. Fluker last week, but Jerry Reese shouldn’t stop there.

The Giants desperately need help along the offensive line, especially at tackle, to not only protect an aging Eli Manning, but to help a rushing attack that ranked 29th overall last season.

Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin

In his third mock draft, ESPN’s Todd McShay has the Giants selecting Ryan Ramczyk with the 23rd overall pick. At 6’6″ and 313 pounds, the former Badger could provide the dominant presence New York so desperately needs at tackle.

If he’s still on the board, it will be interesting to see if the Giants are as high on Ramczyk as draft experts are around the league.

Taylor Moton, OT, Western Michigan

If the Giants go elsewhere with their first-round pick, Taylor Moton could be a possibility later in the draft. Projected as a second or third-round pick, Moton possesses the versatility to be an elite blocker on the offensive line.

His ability to play inside or outside could intrigue Big Blue, which will likely experiment with new line combinations once camp opens in August.

Erik Magnuson, OT, Michigan

Erik Magnuson is pegged as a middle-round selection. Should the Giants wait to address the offensive line, he could be an option for Jerry Reese and the front office.

More of a pass-blocker, Magnuson would be a nice value pick if he falls deeper in the draft.
