Big Blue will be spending their Thanksgiving on the road this year.
New York Giants fans must be salivating at the idea of Big Blue playing on Turkey Day.
The Washington Redskins will be hosting the Giants on Thanksgiving this upcoming season, and I couldn’t be happier about it. According to the Washington Post, this marks the first time in franchise history Washington will host a Thanksgiving Day game.

Being forced to watch Dallas play every year while scarfing down turkey and sweet potatoes is borderline depressing (unless they lose). But this year, Giants fans across the globe will be rejoicing at the fact Thanksgiving holds a special treat.
Another duel between electric receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and cornerback Josh Norman will headline the day, and will hopefully prove to be a Thanksgiving classic.
Last Season’s Results
After Big Blue split the series last year, losing the first game 29-27 due to an all too familiar Eli interception and winning the second 19-10. The Giants will be looking to seize the day and trample Washington in memory of the tragic loss.
All of the hype surrounding Beckham and Norman was normalized after the first game, where emotions spiked and borderline illegal hits were returned between the superstars.

With the hopeful additions of an offensive lineman and tight end through the draft, the G-Men will present an upgraded offense and stellar defense to combat the ever-stingy Redskins.
The last time Big Blue faced off on Thanksgiving was in 2009 against the Denver Broncos, in which they lost 26-6.

This game represents the 15th time the Giants make an appearance on Thanksgiving, ending an eight-year hiatus.
Although Eli remembers the loss against the Broncos, most of the Giants players will be fresh and ready to take on the challenge.
Hopefully, the Nov. 23, 2017 contest will prove to hold a better result.
