At 36 years of age, Eli Manning has the weapons around him to put forth the best individual season of his illustrious New York Giants career.

Eli Manning is in the process of preparing for his 14th season with the New York Giants. The No. 1 overall selection in the 2004 NFL Draft will look to extend his streak of 201 consecutive games played during a high-pressure 2017 campaign.

Fortunately for Manning, the assets are in place for the two-time Super Bowl champion to put forth the best individual season of his career.

That may seem like a bold statement for a player who’s 36 years of age and entering his 14th season, but it’s fair to believe Manning is in line for a big year. He’s been surrounded by the perfect weapons to help him experience a career renaissance and lead New York to prominence.

It’s admittedly possible that Manning could lose his battle with father time in 2017, but he has the tools at his disposal for a massive year.

For the Giants, Manning’s consistency will be the deciding factor in their pursuit of a fifth Lombardi Trophy. He’s produced well late in his career, but hasn’t looked the part of the elite player he became in 2011.

Fortunately for the New York Giants, general manager Jerry Reese has given Eli Manning the perfect set of weapons to perform at a career-best level.
