2. Top 10 All-Time: Passing Touchdowns

As previously acknowledged, Eli Manning ranks in the Top 10 on the all-time passing yards list. That’s a feather in his cap, but it isn’t the only significant list on which Manning ranks amongst the Top 10 players ever.

Not only has Manning recorded more passing yards than all but seven players in NFL history, but he’s one of the Top 10 players in passing touchdowns, as well.

Manning is currently No. 7 all-time with 320 career passing touchdowns. It’s fair to establish that a vast majority of the players in this category will come from the modern era or the eras that will come after the present day.

Nevertheless, Manning finding his way into the Top 10 on the two most statistically significant lists in football is of remarkable importance.

Manning is currently 22 passing touchdowns shy of Fran Tarkenton, who ranks No. 6 on the all-time list, and is within 100 touchdowns of Dan Marino at No. 7. Catching Marino could be unrealistic, but it’s within sight.

Whether or not he continues to move up, Manning should finish his NFL career in the Top 10 of both passing yards and passing touchdowns.
