4. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals

Age: 28 (7/31/1988)
2016 Season Statistics: 10 games played, 66 receptions, 964 yards, 4 touchdowns
Career Statistics: 86 games played, 481 receptions, 7,135 yards, 49 touchdowns

The Cincinnati Bengals have a quarterback who has been fairly labeled as erratic and a receiving corps that can’t seem to stay healthy. Whether it was current tight end Tyler Eifert or past playmakers such as Jermaine Gresham and Marvin Jones, consistent help has been tough to find.

No matter what obstacle has been placed in front of him, however, A.J. Green has proven to be one of the NFL’s truly elite wide receivers.

Green has recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in five of his six NFL seasons—and he tallied 964 in just 10 games during the 2016 campaign. He has 7,135 career receiving yards, as well as 481 career receptions and 49 career receiving touchdowns.

Despite playing with a quarterback whose star status has been called into question on a number of occasions, Green produced against even the stiffest of competition.

Beyond the numbers, Green may have the biggest catch radius in the NFL. Standing at 6’4″, Green can turn poor throws into massive gains with his timing, patience, big hands, and freakish athleticism—all of which have enabled him to become a six-time Pro Bowler.

If Green had remained healthy in 2016, there’s a good chance that he would’ve made a run at the No. 1 spot in the wide receiver rankings.
