World collided when New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba spent time together off the field.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is becoming one of the most recognizable athletes in the world. His resume is decorated and his profile continues to expand beyond the field and into the realms of fame and fashion.

Beckham Jr.’s star status was further established when he spent time with a peer from a different type of football.

In May of 2017, Beckham Jr. was ranked as the No. 64 overall player on the ESPN World Fame 100. It was a fair indication of the All-Pro wide receiver’s value to not only the Giants, but the NFL as a conglomerate.

During a recent post on his official Instagram account, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba revealed that he and Beckham have forged a friendship.

This may seem somewhat inconsequential, but it’s exciting to see two of the most prolific young athletes in the world collided.

Pogba was ranked at No. 40 overall on the 2017 release of the ESPN Fame 100. The 24-year-old has become a household name in the world football community for his explosive skill set and tremendous level of marketability.

The French phenom began his career at Manchester United, spent four successful seasons at Juventus of Italy’s Serie A, and is now back at Old Trafford.

Although they may play different sports, Beckham Jr. and Pogba are two of the brightest stars in the different worlds of football.

While the 24-year-old Pogba is closing in on elite status in world football, Beckham Jr. is already one of the top players in the NFL. He was ranked No. 8 on the NFL Top 100, and already has two All-Pro selections on his resume.

Beckham Jr. also joins John Jefferson and Randy Moss as the only players in NFL history to begin his career with at least 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in each of his first three seasons.
