2. Y.A. Tittle

The No. 2 quarterback in New York Giants history is one whose legacy has endured more than 50 years. His tenure with the Giants spanned just four seasons, but the middle two seasons rank amongst the greatest of all-time.

To this day, Tittle holds the franchise record for passing touchdowns in a single season—and he achieved the feat in 1963.

Tittle threw for 2,272 passing yards, 17 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions during his first season in New York: 1961. A year later, he set franchise records with 3,224 yards and 33 touchdowns in 1962—when the schedule was still a mere 14 games.

Tittle then threw for 36 touchdowns in 1963, with the scoring mark still ranking No. 1 in franchise history—and the 33 from 1962 ranking No. 3.

Despite playing just four seasons with the Giants, Tittle ranks No. 5 in franchise history in passing touchdowns and No. 6 in passing yards. The fact that he achieved those marks in the 1960s is a testament to how far ahead of his time Tittle truly was.

Some may debate his placement on this list, but the icing on the cake is quite powerful: Tittle is the only Giants quarterback to win the AP NFL MVP award.
