#6 – OT Adam Bisnowaty (Sixth-Round, Pick No. 200)
Big Blue traded their sixth and seventh-round draft picks to the Tennessee Titans to select Bisnowaty with the 16th pick in the sixth-round. The move clearly didn’t work out as the 6-foot-6, 304-pound offensive tackle was cut after the preseason. The Giants did sign him to their practice squad, but he has remained there all season despite three offensive linemen being placed on injured reserve.
The G-Men waited too long to bolster their offensive line in the draft. It’s not rare for a sixth-round pick to end up on the practice squad in their rookie season, but in this case, New York could not afford to use two draft picks on an offensive lineman that doesn’t play.
