The Giants officially placed cornerback Janoris Jenkins on injured reserve this week. And second-year cornerback Eli Apple has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game due to a hip injury.

Big Blue won’t be the only team shorthanded in Week 13. The Silver and Black have already ruled out wide receiver Amari Cooper. The Raiders will also be without wide receiver Michael Crabtree due to a suspension.

That means Giants cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Ross Cockrell are likely to matchup opposite Raiders wide receivers Seth Roberts and Cordarrelle Patterson. Big Blue still has All-Pro strong safety Landon Collins and free safety Darian Thompson at the backend of their defense, but the importance of depth for both teams is sure to play a factor in Sunday’s game.
