#3 – Make Offensive Line The Priority

No matter who’s under center for Big Blue in 2018, he is bound to struggle unless something is done about the offensive line. Yes, Manning’s lack of mobility is a major cause for concern in today’s NFL, but even if the Giants get their next franchise quarterback, will they want to put him behind this offensive line?

The Giants have only had three top five selections since 1981. And while it might sound crazy to pass on a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick, the Giants might be better served by selecting a cornerstone left tackle. The Giants could even potentially trade back for a “King’s Ransom” similar to Tennessee in 2016, allowing them the opportunity to snag an offensive tackle in the Top 15 while still acquiring multiple draft picks and a quarterback for the future.

If the Giants make the offensive line the focus, it will not only give Manning and Big Blue a chance to succeed next season but will also lay a strong foundation for the next quarterback to step under center in New York.
