#10 – Notre Dame RB Josh Adams
San Diego State’s Rashaad Penny or Alabama’s Bo Scarbrough could have taken this spot, but Notre Dame’s 6-foot-2, 225-pound running back had to crack this list.
Adams amassed 1,386 yards rushing and nine touchdowns for the Fighting Irish in 2017, while leading Notre Dame to the No. 7 rushing attack in the FBS. ESPN’s Mel Kiper lists Adams as the ninth best running back prospect in this year’s draft class.
Adams is a physical runner that’s likely to be considered a steal after the third-round, but it’s unknown if he will enter this year’s draft or return to South Bend for his senior season. There are some concerns that Adams is the product of a great offensive line, but only time will tell if his game will translate to the next level.
