#4 -Georgia RB Nick Chubb
The Bulldogs 5-foot-10, 225-pound running back might be the most overlooked prospect at his position. Chubb was named a second-team All American for his play this season and led Georgia’s backfield with 1,175 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.
NFL scouts have reportedly been impressed with Chubb’s improved play this season, and Walter Football has him listed as the third best prospect at the position. Kiper and Miller both have him listed as the 10th best tailback, and Miller has him labeled as the “biggest question mark” due to his injury history.
Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury in his sophomore season but has bounced back and recorded back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons. NFL coaches and general managers are sure to love his team-first mentality, and Bulldogs defensive end Lorenzo Carter recently gave praise to his teammate, via USA Today Sports.
"“You never see Nick complain. He just goes out there and does what he has to do and usually it’s quite amazing. People overlook him, but as long as we keep getting wins, they’re fine.”"
Chubb could end up being one of the biggest draft steals come April, but that will depend on where he is selected.
