Big Blue’s offseason rebuild is already underway.

The New York Giants 2017 season officially came to an end on New Year’s Eve, but that doesn’t mean Big Blue fans won’t be watching football this January.

The NFL Playoffs kicked off on Saturday, and many Giants fans will likely be tuning into Monday’s national championship game between Alabama and Georgia.

The two SEC programs are loaded with future NFL players. The G-Men currently have five players (4 Alabama, 1 Georgia) on their roster from the two universities.

New York used a second-round draft selection on defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson last year. The Giants lone Pro Bowler in 2017, Landon Collins, spent three seasons in Tuscaloosa before being drafted by the Giants in 2015.

While there is no guarantee the Giants select a player from either program in the 2018 NFL Draft, it’s safe to assume Big Blue’s scouting department will be paying attention to this game. Here’s a closer look at some of the top prospects to watch, ranking them based on talent and New York’s top needs.
