The Raiders released 18-year veteran Sebastian Janikowski last week after missing the entire 2017 season. The 39-year-old, who holds the NFL record for most made kicks from 50-plus yards (55), intends to play next season.

Janikowski’s agent, Paul Healy, confirmed his client is healthy and ready to play in 2018, via the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"“He plans on getting another job. Unfortunately, he had this back issue. He’s healthy now, and he’s ready to go.”"

In 2016, Janikowski converted on 82.9 percent of his field goal attempts and made an impressive 25-of-26 field goals from 49 yards or shorter.
