It will also be Dave Gettleman’s first draft as the new general manager of the franchise. What the New York Giants do with the No. 2 overall pick will have a ripple effect on the organization for years to come.

But all six of New York’s draft selections will be important, especially if the G-Men are seeking a quick turnaround in 2018. Big Blue holds six picks in the first five rounds (Nos. 2, 34, 66, 69, 108, 139).

The Giants still have multiple needs after free agency, but that’s also to be expected after a 3-13 season. Offensive line remains a top priority despite the addition of Nate Solder. Gettleman reportedly might also look to shop former first-round pick Ereck Flowers during the draft.

Big Blue’s options for the No. 2 overall pick have been covered thoroughly over the past couple of months, but the 34th, 66th, 69th, 108th, and 139th picks will also play a significant factor in the team’s success.

Just last year the Jacksonville Jaguars used the 34th pick on their starting left tackle Cam Robinson. The Los Angeles Rams used the 69th pick on Cooper Kupp.

The New Orleans Saints were a perfect example of the impact a strong draft class can have in one season. The additions of Marshon Lattimore, Ryan Ramczyk, Marcus Williams, and Alvin Kamara propelled New Orleans to the top of the NFC South, a division which had three playoff teams in 2017.

Below is a list of the top 150 players in the 2018 NFL Draft for the New York Giants. This list is based on need, talent, and value of position. Since Big Blue is in need of offensive linemen, there is a total of 31 tackles, guards, and centers on this list. Since the Giants are likely set at tight end, only three prospects at the position make the top 150.
