No. 12 – Saquon Barkley debate isn’t over

Neither side of the draft/don’t draft debate can claim victory yet. As advertised, running back Saquon Barkley has demonstrated that he’s an elite talent. Conversely, no one can argue that the NFL has become primarily a passing league. This debate will rage on until the New York Giants find quarterback Eli Manning’s successor. If that guy’s a bust, then you have your answer. Then again, if general manager Dave Gettleman gets a decent signal-caller into MetLife Stadium sooner rather than later, then all bets are off. No one side can claim victory here, as this debate status remains TBD.
