No. 11 – Keep an eye on Sam Darnold

For those folks who say that it’s irrelevant what New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold does, you’re wrong. Now, both, Darnold and Saquon Barkley, could go onto have Hall of Fame careers, and then this debate becomes a fool’s errand. Individual prowess aside, championships are the main thing. If one or the other player leads his team to a title, then that’s the penultimate answer. Both players certainly appear to be as advertised, and the fact that they play in the same stadium adds spice to this drama. My gut feeling is that it will, at some point, come down to bragging rights, and someone will be judged to having the upper hand, but this is also TBD. Key in mind that Big Blue plays the New York Jets in the regular season next year.
