Defensive End. Ohio State. Nick Bosa. 2. player. 42. “When Nick Bosa is on the field, he is a dominant EDGE defender. Most proficient pass-rushers are not also effective in the run game, but Bosa sets a violent edge against the run and uses his hands well in order to avoid getting washed out on the line.” — Drafttek.com

With San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch getting indignant about being asked for the No. 2 overall selection in exchange for Odell Beckham, Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa better be every bit as good as advertised. After all, Lynch was insulted that the New York Giants would even ask. The Niners already acquired pass rusher Dee Ford in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs, so adding Bosa opposite Ford quickly elevates San Francisco’s pass rush. The bonus with Bosa is that he’s a third-down defender, and he’ll provide stout run defense as well.
