Michigan. Rashan Gary. 6. player. 31. “Rashan Gary’s versatility will make him an appealing prospect in nearly any defensive scheme. Though he projects best as a DL3T or DL5T, Gary’s reported 4.57 forty-yard dash in 2017 spring workouts may entice some teams to give him a look as a stand-up EDGE in a 3-4 alignment.” — Drafttek.com. Defensive End

In this era of edge rushers and pass rushing outside linebackers, Rashan Gary seems like a throwback. He’s a defensive end who can play the run, as well as rush the quarterback. Gary carries 280 lbs. seamlessly and maintains a high level of speed. Those who critique his game, don’t acknowledge that his presence makes those around him better (i.e. Devin Bush and Chase Winovich). If Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins, by chance, is still available, New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman will be pressured into taking a signal-caller. He needs to resist the urge and grab this multi-talented defender from the Maize and Blue.
