Week 7 (Oct. 20) – vs. Arizona Cardinals, 1 p.m.

The lowly Arizona Cardinals come into town at a perfect time for the Giants, as they keep the team from beginning to reel here. I’m not as high on Kyler Murray as some others are, and I particularly expect him to struggle early on in his career. East Rutherford, New Jersey in late October is a far-cry from playing at home in Oklahoma. Murray won’t be able to get his normal zip on the ball in the windy conditions, and he figures to be running for his life for most of the season behind a dismal offensive line.

This is a critical, must-win game for Big Blue. I simply don’t see any path to a successful campaign without winning this game. Outside of losing Saquon or multiple offensive lineman, I truly feel this should be a lock-win for us. I don’t anticipate David Johnson being too much of a problem for James Bettcher’s defense.

Prediction: Win

Record: 4-3
