Some New York Giants fans may have not gotten the final result they were looking for against the Eagles, but there were many positives to take from the loss. Here are the top five.

New York Giants nation has been heavily divided on whether people feel like Big Blue ‘should’ be winning games down the stretch. While I’ve been firmly on the let’s lose out for draft position bandwagon, it was hard – if not downright impossible – to not be rooting tooth and nail for Eli and the Giants to pull off the upset once things got going in Philadelphia last night.

As the teams headed into halftime, that result almost seemed like a sure thing, as Big Blue held a shocking 17-3 lead due to some vintage play from Eli Manning. However, as was to be expected, the defense (and the whole team, really) folded in the second half as the coaching staff failed to make any second-half adjustments against the injury-battered Eagles.

Despite the disappointing result, several Giant players had their best games of the season, and many of the young talent on the team showed out.

Here are the five biggest positives to takeaway from last night’s 23-17 loss in Philly.
