2. We got to see vintage Eli Manning for a half

When Eli Manning was benched in favor of Daniel Jones in Week 3, it was fair to wonder if that was the last time we’d ever see #10 in a New York Giants uniform. However, not many players have avoided injury and put together the ironman streak that Eli has (no disrespect to Daniel Jones ), which allowed us to get to see our man in primetime one more time.

In the first half, he did not disappoint, as the two-time Super Bowl MVP put together a memorable performance that he capped off by dropping a 55-yard dime to rookie Darius Slayton for his second touchdown of half. After struggling out of the gate, Eli picked it up in the second quarter and stunned the hometown Philly crowd.

The future Hall of Famer wasn’t able to keep it going in the second half, as the entire team collapsed en route to a tough loss. After throwing for 179 yards and two TD’s in the first half, Eli was only able to muster up 24 yards and four completions in the second half. Outside of Tampa Bay, this was easily the best moment we’ve had in the entire 2019 season, though.

We’ll always have that first half on MNF in Philadelphia.
