Ohio State linebacker Baron Browning brings an exciting blend of length and athleticism that is just starting to be refined as he continues with his junior season. After disappointing in his freshman and sophomore seasons, with only 14 games and 37 tackles combined, Browning has 40 tackles in ten games so far, ten of those tackles being for a loss.

Even if Browning needs refining when it comes to his mental processing and technique, he brings a lot to the table that the Giants lack in their linebacker group. A linebacker group that just got toasted by running back Boston Scott on Monday night because they could not keep up with him. With time, Browning can provide the presence in the middle of the field that should translate easily to coverage duties and upgrade Big Blue’s front seven immediately.
