3. Carolina Panthers

New Panthers Head Coach Matt Rhule has said previously that he would only accept an NFL head coaching job if the situation was ideal. In describing his ideal situation, the two main points he stressed were that he would have a quarterback and that the organization would be on the same page. While we know the organization is on the same page, does Matt Rhule feel as though he has his quarterback on the roster or does he want one in the draft?

Giants get: CAR picks 1.7, 2.6, 5.6, and 2021 3rd

Panthers get: NYG pick 1.4

The Panthers would have to give up quite a lot if they are intending on moving up to draft a quarterback ahead of the Dolphins, given that they’d be not only jumping Miami but also the Chargers. Rhule would have his pick of Tua Tagovailoa or Justin Herbert there, with no risk of the Dolphins selecting one of them or another team trading up to steal them.
