Somewhat inexplicably, Yetur Gross-Matos has been slipping down the draft boards of a lot of draft experts. It seems this is less of an indictment on the abilities of Gross-Matos as it is some of the stars of the NFL Combine seeing major boosts in their draft stock.

Regardless, the New York Giants would be ecstatic to snag the former Nittany Lion with the fourth pick of the second round. In doing so, they shore up a massive hole on their roster and get a potentially elite pass rusher.

With exceptional length and athleticism, Gross-Matos is a bit of a developmental project who could use a bit more seasoning to reach his full potential. That said, he could be an elite pass rusher in a year or two after getting the proper seasoning.
