Las Vegas Oddsmakers are not giving the NY Giants much of a chance to make the 2020 NFL playoffs.

Well, lump in Cesars Sportsbook in Las Vegas in with those that is not impressed with the 2020 NY Giants. Via ESPN, Cesars gave Big Blue some of the longest odds to both make the playoffs, and of course, in turn, win the Super Bowl.

Even the most positive NY Giants fan would have to admit that making the playoffs next season would be somewhat of a miracle, but I’m not sure the current roster is so bad that the team deserves the 4.5/1 odds it’s currently featured at.

Especially when you factor in that we’re getting an extra playoff team in each conference starting in 2020, that’s some ridiculous return on investment should Big Blue finish off the offseason strong while putting together a solid 2020 NFL Draft.

At their current odds, just a $10 bet would return $56 back to the gambler should Big Blue end up making a miraculous playoff run.

Only four teams had longer odds to make the playoffs – the Bengals, Dolphins, Jaguars, and Redskins – while the Lions were given the same odds as Big Blue.

The Giants are being given an 8-1 shot at winning the NFC East and a 25-1 chance at winning the NFC in total.

It’s almost ridiculous to bring up the Super Bowl when talking about the 2020 NY Giants, but Cesars gave the team 60/1 odds to win the big game. Again, only the same four previously mentioned teams had lower odds at shocking the world.

If Giants fans are looking for one positive to make out of these latest odds, it’s that the rival Washington Redskins are being given far worse odds than Big Blue. Currently, the Redskins’ Super Bowl odds are almost 3x the Giants’, as the team is being given 150-1 odds to win the Super Bowl.

The Redskins’ playoff odds are also almost double Big Blue’s, as the divisional foe would bring back 8.5-1 odds on a playoff run.
