With the 2020 NFL Draft now just a day away, let’s take a look at what the All-Time NY Giants team would look like if comprised of only their best first-round draft picks.

I said the same thing last year around this time, this is by far the worst part of the NFL off-season. We’ve all read and done what seems to be a thousand mock drafts, combines and pro days are over, and all we have left is the constant reporting of “sources” disclosing what teams are going to do come draft day, especially our own NY Giants.

For the third straight year, the NY Giants are in the mix of all the draft day drama. Holding the No. 4 overall pick with a handful of QB-needy teams behind them, does GM Dave Gettleman entertain the possibility of trading back? Do they stay put and take Clemson freak Isaiah Simmons and pass on a tackle in round one? Or do they address their tackle issue first?

There are compelling arguments to be made for each scenario, and those are questions we will have to wait another day to find out the answers to.

When it comes to first-round picks of the New York Giants, there is a long list of guys who turned out to be well worth the investment, with a handful going on to become some of the best players in franchise history and Pro Football Hall of Fame members.

Since 1936, there have been only 11 drafts where the G-Men didn’t have a pick in round one. On the other hand, last year’s three picks were the most the franchise has ever had in round one, breaking the previous record of two picks which happened in 1951, 1972, and 1984.

That being said, what would a Giants team look like comprised of only first-round picks taken throughout the years?

Spoiler alert, it looks pretty good.

*This team will consist of 1 QB, 2 RBs, 1 TE, 3 WRs, 5 OL, 4 DL, 3 LBs, and 4 DBs
