3. EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson

This is one of the picks that I don’t see as very likely but could still see happening. If the NY Giants trade down to the 10-14 range, Chaisson could be the name that Giants fans hear called on draft night.

Chaisson is one of those players who has traits that just explode on tape while being one of the youngest players in the entire draft this year. Like Becton, the ceiling Chaisson can reach is incredibly high. Unlike Becton, Chaisson has a much higher floor.

Chaisson is raw but based off of his athleticism and motor, he should at the very least find success as a secondary pass-rusher at the next level. An all-around talent that can contribute as an edge defender against both the pass and run, Chaisson has the ability to become a contributor immediately while developing into a premier EDGE.

K’Lavon Chaisson missed the vast majority of the 2018 season with a torn ACL but injuries don’t seem to be a legitimate concern with his game. Provided he can stay healthy, Chaisson should have no problem developing into a premier edge defender.
