4. EDGE AJ Epenesa

Since the end of the 2019 season, Epenesa has seen his stock take a tumble but I believe that the NFL, like myself, is still high on him. A high-floor prospect that is comparable to a younger Trey Flowers,  Epenesa will likely never be a consistent double-digit sack artist. I don’t think averaging eight sacks per year is out of the question for the Super Samoan.

Run defense is a major strength of Epenesa’s. While the Giants have plenty of talent along the defensive line already, facing teams like Dallas and Philadelphia twice a season means that the front four needs to be as strong and deep as possible.

More of a base end in either the 3-4 or 4-3, Epenesa does not offer the same versatility that other prospects like Chaisson or Simmons offer, but he is a solid power-rusher and run defender in a class where the edge talent really tapers off early.
