LSU S Grant Delpit

Not a huge need with Julian Love manning the free safety position, for now,  and Jabrill Peppers at strong safety, but Grant Delpit is a great value at a position that still needs depth. Likely not the spot Delpit envisioned himself going in 2018, but his coverage issues have dropped him down boards across the NFL, leading him here.

Delpit, a big safety at 6’2″ 213 lbs, provides another talent on the back-end that can offer a physical approach against tight ends and step up in the box seemlessly. The depth at the safety position has always been a struggle for the Giants and Delpit can offer the skillset that can be great if he develops into a better cover player.
