Game #5: Week 15, Giants vs Browns, 1 pm

How can you mention the NY Giants 2020 schedule without circling the Browns game immediately? Yes, Odell Beckham Jr. is making his triumphant return to the Meadowlands this season.

When the Giants traded Odell to Cleveland in March of 2019, it almost didn’t seem real. How could the team trade their most talented and marquee player to a different team? Why did they give him a contract for 5 years $95 million only to trade him six months later?

Regardless of what side you took on the trade, what can’t be argued is Odell’s record-breaking production on the field and his importance to the Giants offense. Big Blue has since replaced Odell by signing Golden Tate in free agency and drafting Darius Slayton in 2019.

The Giants and the Browns are two of the NFL’s oldest teams. Fast-forward back to 2020, both teams have new head coaches to lead their respective teams alongside two promising top 10 picks at quarterback.

The Browns had high expectations for 2019 but heavily disappointed and made Freddie Kitchens a one-and-done Head Coach. Kitchens joined the Giants staff as the new tight ends coach and look for him to treat this as a revenge game as well.

There is no denying the everlasting impact Odell left on the Giants franchise. He created unforgettable memories from his legendary one-handed fingertip catch against Dallas as a rookie to bringing the Giants back against the Ravens with two second-half 65+ yard touchdowns in 2016.

Not everything was perfect, but then again nothing ever is perfect in our lives. Look for Odell to take this game very personally and the Giants’ young secondary must come ready for a dogfight.
