The NY Giants invested a lot in Andrew Thomas when they took him fourth overall in 2020 NFL Draft and he’s been working overtime to get right for his rookie season.

It’s no secret that I’ve been the biggest Andrew Thomas stan on the face of the earth since watching him display his magical abilities at the University of Georgia. But, now, as a member of the NY Giants, Thomas is already showing why he’s able to dominate the way he does.

We’ve already seen Daniel Jones work his tail off all offseason so far despite the obvious limitations around the country and the league, now Andrew Thomas has given us a look at what he’s been up to and let’s just say it’s not good news for any NFC East edge rusher.

Thomas has been working hard all offseason with up and coming personal athlete trainer Josh Swan in Georgia, and his workout regiment and diet are as stringent and methodical as it gets.

According to Swan, Thomas has been able to maintain a steady weight of 317 pounds while beating workouts in the gym like you just witnessed above.

Some questioned whether Thomas was big enough to dominate at the next level; if he can stick at around 320 pounds and look as lean as he does he should be a force to be reckoned with for the NY Giants for a time to come.

After the disaster of an offensive line, Daniel Jones had to deal with during his rookie season he’s got to be chomping at the bit to be able to hurl bombs with an actual physical specimen and rock-solid tackle keeping him safe.

If Andrew Thomas continues to attack the workout room and keep learning the little niches that he already has so many of, he’s likely going to turn out to be the ten-year plus rock-solid tackle I predicted him to be way back in the fall.

And that will be a glorious thing for all NY Giants fans after what we’ve seen out of the offensive line over the past several years.
