The NY Giants appeared to have gotten an absolute steal in safety Xavier McKinney in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Projected to go in the top 20 on most reputable mock drafts, Dave Gettleman was all too eager to hop on the electric play-maker and Big Blue appears to have finally landed their potential difference maker/playmaker.

So much so, that former NFL player turned analyst went as far as to say the rookie was going to have a “historic” rookie season.

All-Pro team? That’s some high praise, but how often we saw him make big plays and be ‘Mr. Reliable’ at Alabama, it’s actually possible with the 2020 NY Giants.

The current defense is made up mostly of reliable players that set up plays for their teammates, and McKinney should be right there to slam home any ally oop that comes his way.
