5. WR Darius Slayton

At this time last year, I doubt anyone in Darius Slayton’s family would be expecting him to be in the mix for a 2020 Pro Bowl bid. However, the young NY Giants touchdown machine blew away expectations in his rookie year and will likely command the WR1 role for Big Blue this year.

Slayton’s keen connection with franchise QB Daniel Jones could be a major factor in Slayton becoming a Pro Bowl level player, as the two were in lockstep last year to combined for 8 TD’s through the air.

Slayton had two separate games where he went for over 100 yards and  TD’s, so the elite potential is surely there.

The former Auburn Tiger only played in 66% of the NY Giants’ snaps in 2019, so provided he stay healthy it’s reasonable to assume he’ll be playing close to all the snaps and his numbers will only go up.
