Analysis:
The NY Giants’ top three receivers return for 2020 looking to improve on last year’s production. Slayton, Shep, and Tate all provide different blends of skill, size, and talent to the position and will need to stay healthy this year.
Corey Coleman is returning to Big Blue after tearing his ACL in camp last season. He will be the team’s 4th option and will stretch defenses with his blazing speed.
The last two receiver spots are important for reserve roles and special teams. Cody Core is a core special-teamer and Joe Judge will find him a roster spot for that alone.
The last receiver spot was inevitably going to a young, unproven player so I went with the highest upside and I am hoping that Binjimen Victor’s 18 touchdowns at Ohio State can be a sign of more things to come in the NFL.
Scott showed very little as a kick returner or receiver last year. Sills was just recently sent to the COVID-19 IR, Bachman seems to need more time before making an NFL roster, and Mack and Dillon’s traits aren’t enough to make the roster in my opinion.
