Who’s out: Niko Lalos, Dana Levine, and Chris Slayton

Analysis:

The NY Giants’ D-line is one of the strongest position groups on the roster this year. The group is flush with young, talented players such as Dalvin Tomlinson and Dexter Lawrence.

With them, is veteran Leonard Williams and we all know about the infamous trade we made to get him last year. Williams is the team’s highest-paid player in 2020 and he will need to play like it to prove his worth to secure a long-term deal.

BJ Hill and Austin Johnson are two solid options off the bench that have produced before and can come in, make an impact, penetrate running lanes, and eat up ballcarriers.

RJ McIntosh just sneaks in here as he’s on his last life heading into year three after being projected as a high-upside fifth-round pick when he entered the league in 2018. He’s shown flashes of pass-rushing ability in spots and that’s all the NY Giants will need out of him in 2020.

Former seventh-round pick, Chris Slayton joins two undrafted players in being the only cuts along the defensive line.
