As alluded to on the Jawaan Taylor slide, the NY Giants had horrific offensive line play last year. With Jon Halapio and Spencer Pulley on the roster at the time of the 2019 NFL Draft, center was a position that should have been addressed early on.

Enter Elgton Jenkins out of Mississippi State. The big man is capable of playing all three positions along the interior offensive line. Coming into the 2019 Draft, Jenkins was one of the highest-floor prospects at any position.

This year the NY Giants drafted Shane Lemieux out of Oregon to fill the gaping hole at center, but had they drafted Jenkins last year, they would have a strong and young interior offensive line who would now have a year of experience together.
