5. CB Sean Murphy-Bunting

Small-school cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting was a late riser heading into the 2019 NFL Draft. Coming out of Central Michigan, there were of course questions about the level of competition that SMB faced in the MAC.

Murphy-Bunting would prove his worth in his rookie year where he allowed a passer rating of just 86.6 on 60 targets in 16 games this past season.

Sean Murphy-Bunting offers a similar build to Baker but was a full tenth of a second faster during the 40-yard dash and had a broad jump eight inches further than Baker.

If Murphy-Bunting’s rookie season is any indicator of what is to come, he deserved to be drafted even higher than he really was and will have a much longer and more productive career than DeAndre Baker.
